I have had the pleasure of being a member of the Nomad Golf Club since being inducted in 1991. I also had the honor as serving as the club president for six years. The club holds a special significance for me as a black professional who loves the game of golf. The club’s founders were made up of black golfers in 1950 who were denied access to golf courses. They found camaraderie in each other traveling around the country playing golf. I truly have enjoyed my 27 years in the club and will continue my proud membership into the future.
